Hey Adam,

Does size really matter? I mean, when it comes to large format advertising, can it ever be too big?

Well I suppose it depends on your perspective.

People ALWAYS say that bigger is better, and I think your sister agrees with me.... LOL.
(I am a bad person, I know.... but this is too loaded a question not to address it at least once).

When it comes to large format... you can NEVER have too large a sign.

Of course the idea is to stand out. I've seen some really terrific large format wraps, signs and such... which had tremendous impact, and I've seen others where the space just simply wasn't used to its fullest advantage.

Consider for a moment the Goodyear Blimp.... it's a great advertising tool and it's appeared over thousands of sports arenas nationwide. But, if it wasn't for the longevity of the brand and the saturation of the market, would owning a blimp like that really be effective?

I'd venture to say no.... it's only because of the success of the goodyear brand that they could use an institutional approach like that.

That said, a great vehicle wrap, even something as small as a PT cruiser can have incredible results if the message is clear and the market is small enough.

So, does size matter? Of course it does.... but even a tiny one can still work too (again, I quote no sources other than your sister).

Best,

Adam
